Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Sofitel Dubai The Palm. As an Engineering Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the maintenance and operation of our facilities ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians in maintaining and improving building systems and infrastructure
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facility equipment and systems
- Oversee the planning coordination and execution of repair and renovation projects
- Manage energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and environmental standards
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and improve overall operations
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities and capital projects
- Analyze system performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for management
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services
- Implement and maintain quality control processes for all engineering and maintenance activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies to enhance facility operations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Civil)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance and management
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- In-depth knowledge of building systems including electrical plumbing and HVAC
- Strong project management skills including planning budgeting and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in energy management and sustainability practices
