Job Summary
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading financial services company who are looking to recruit a Head of MENA.
Position: Head of MENA
Location: Dubai - Remote
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the setup and licensing of regional operations in compliance with local financial regulations.
- Develop and execute strategies for market entry business growth and long-term expansion.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders regulators and industry players.
- Drive business development initiatives including client acquisition onboarding and retention.
- Recruit mentor and manage local teams to support business operations and growth.
- Monitor market trends competition and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Represent the company as a primary point of contact in the region strengthening brand presence and visibility.
- Collaborate with global leadership to align regional strategies with overall company objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Proficiency in Arabic would be considered an advantage.
- Proven experience in establishing and managing financial services operations in regulated markets.
- Strong background in business development sales and market expansion within financial services (experience in Forex and/or Equities is preferred).
- Deep understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and licensing processes.
- Established network of industry relationships within the region.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience building and managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
