What you will be doing:
- Provide friendly efficient and professional front office service including warm welcomes check-ins and check-outs.
- Anticipate guest needs handle cash transactions and maintain Pullman service standards.
- Monitor room status manage guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and follow VIP protocols.
- Adhere to local government requirements and Pullman guidelines for guest management.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and meet Pullmans high standards.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Process reservations modifications and cancellations efficiently using the hotels booking system.
- Manage incoming calls and emails providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to arrange special requests or services for guests.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
- Assist in emergency situations and implement safety procedures when required.
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximise hotel revenue.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on Pullmans policies and hospitality trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of guest services by providing feedback and suggestions.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Thriving in fast-paced environments and love creating memorable guest experiences.
- Previous experience in hospitality is a strong advantage.
- Tech-savvy with Opera or similar systems
- Guest-oriented approachable and genuinely service-minded
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a great asset
- Sales-driven mindset
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is highly valued
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when necessary
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanour under pressure
- Impeccable personal grooming and adherence to Pullmans appearance standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays
