Job Description

Job Title: Material Engineer Civil
Location: Dubai

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Material Engineer Civil to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience including 3-5 years in the UAE within a consulting firm environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and approve material submittals related to civil and structural works

- Evaluate materials to ensure compliance with project specifications technical requirements and local authority regulations

- Select test and approve construction materials with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance

- Ensure compliance with UAE and international standards

Requirements:

- 7-10 years of experience in material engineering with 3-5 years in the UAE within a consulting firm environment

- Proven experience in luxury residential and high-rise construction projects in the UAE

- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction codes and local authority requirements (e.g. Dubai Municipality ADM DDA)

- Familiarity with material testing procedures and quality control processes

- Strong understanding of quality and regulatory compliance
