You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Body Repair Technician to perform high-quality repairs on vehicle or boat exteriors. The technician will be responsible for assessing damage straightening frames replacing damaged parts and refinishing surfaces to restore vehicles or vessels to pre-accident condition. Ideal candidates will have experience with bodywork tools repair techniques and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Inspect vehicles or boats to assess structural and cosmetic damage.
Repair or replace damaged body panels fenders bumpers and fiberglass or gelcoat surfaces.
Straighten frames and align structures using hydraulic tools or frame machines.
Sand grind and fill body surfaces in preparation for painting.
Perform paint prep work and assist with blending and refinishing processes.
Install trim hardware and other exterior components.
Maintain accurate repair records and follow manufacturer repair guidelines.
Use power tools welding equipment and bodywork hand tools safely and effectively.
Work with estimators painters and other technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work environment.
2 years of experience in auto body or marine body repair.
Strong knowledge of bodywork repair techniques materials and tools.
Experience with fiberglass gelcoat metal and plastic repair (marine experience is a plus).
Welding and frame straightening experience preferred.
Ability to read repair orders diagrams and technical manuals.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical stamina to bend lift and stand for extended periods.
Valid drivers license; certifications from I-CAR ASE or ABYC (for marine) are a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
