Job Summary
DAS Technician JD
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure DAS components including antennas remote units and fiber-optic connections.
- Conduct cable routing terminations and RF testing to validate system integrity.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs to resolve signal quality or network issues.
- Assist with system commissioning and integration with telecom operators.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during installations.
- Maintain documentation and provide reports on site work and equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with engineers contractors and stakeholders to support project completion.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Telecommunications Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in DAS installation maintenance and RF testing.
- Familiarity with DAS tools such as spectrum analyzers cable testers and site master equipment.
- Knowledge of fiber optics coaxial cabling and telecom infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site.
