Description

Role: IS Business Support Senior Officer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

  • This role is essential for driving Business Information Security Management reporting to CISO act as first point of contact for the CISOs office internally and externally.
  • It holds a management role to manage the Information Security changes and improvement initiatives.
  • The assigned to this role will be working closely with the CISO All GISD Leaders & Emiratization Dep in HR and all new joiners and other GISD management teams to follow up on GISD performance measures & to assist in the delivery of information security cross unit initiatives
  • Additionally this role will support Information Security Management in Coordinating the initiatives follow up between GISD and executive management stakeholders other business functions department IBGs and ADIB subsidiaries central bank & The UBF.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Ensure full responsibility for Emiratization projects and development within GISD team and maintain a healthy ratio according to ADIB goals
  • Responsible for CISO office communication to external departments and subsidiaries
  • Ensure the follow up action related to GISD staff strategy is tracked across GISD
  • Ensure maintenance of the CISO workbook for GISD leaders prioritization and tracking is done centrally.
  • Ensure all recruitment and onboarding is executed timely
  • Ensure external relationship awareness of and branding of GISD team is managed and consolidated in alignment with CISO strategy
  • Involved in day-to-day business functions they coordinate and collaborate with various departments and team members. In many organizational structures
  • Handle onboarding of new employees orientation and introductory training for new joiners
  • Help build initiative and create a positive team culture through engagement and initiatives to foster diversity inclusion and team building
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs on information security best practices
  • Collaborate with other heads and managers across the Group Information Security Department (GISD) and ADIB to assess their needs and gather inputs
  • Building relationships with the GISD leadership teams to understand the processes procedures control
  • Promoting a self-critical and continuous assessment and improvement cybersecurity culture (people process and technology) are brought to light and addressed in an effective innovative and timely manner.
  • Support CISO with committee and board meeting requirements.
  • Reconciles invoices and payment based on monthly spending.
  • Work with GISD senior management and leadership team to scope and prioritize information security services
  • Work with the team to support and deliver Information security events and activities including security awareness programs campaigns team building
  • Coordinate with HR Marketing Communication and other business departments in planning organizing and enhancing Cyber security branding
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate services status to internal participants and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex security challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
  • Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures
  • Coordinate with the HR department to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs
  • Consider the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans

Requirements and skills:

  • Good knowledge of operations management
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal written and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Communication Skills to build business/professional relationship.
  • Capability to engage with internal/external stakeholders to present Information Security in a positive manner.
  • Excellent English skills to effectively communicate and convey departmental messages. Arabic is a must.
  • Good presenter with ability to present security awareness messages.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret presentations and step-by-step action plans.
  • Ability to learn new concepts technology and techniques.
  • Positive and professional attitude team player flexible and adaptable open to change.
  • Dependable with a respect to confidentiality and policies
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • University degree or equivalent
  • An enabler who drives change and improvement initiatives

Experience:

  • Proven track record in successful coordination of tasks and projects in Technology or Security
  • Organize the department office layouts events seminars and conferences for the higher management
  • Organizing induction programs for new employees
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Project management and advanced Excel skills are required.
