Job Description
The American University in the Emirates is searching for an efficient Compliance and Accreditation Senior Officer who is responsible to work with the development and production of statistical and analytical reports for Institutional Effectivenesspractices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree in Statistics Economics Analytics Mathematics from an accredited university.
- 3 to 5 years experience within a reputable university related to institutional effectiveness
- Preferably bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)
Skills / Training / Knowledge
- Research and database management skills
- Proficient in computer tools and software
- Knowledge of University programs and operations including Administrative and Academic affairs is preferred.
Job Description
- Responsible for reviewing and monitoring the standards of the university college department and otherunits and ensuring their compliance in line with set policies and standards.
- Provide data analyses and analytical reports to the administration of the college and other departments.
- Prepare university self-assessment performance report using statistical or IE tools to assess theuniversitys improvement and scoring efforts and document its continuous performance and ways ofimprovements.
- Develop performance reports for the and the required reports for colleges and departments.
- Participate in the design of measurement indicators to measure the efficiency of operations and servicesand the development of the universitys strategic and operational plans to ensure compatibility the setgoals and objectives.
- Archiving documents and all documents pertaining to the practice of institutional quality.
- Provides management with a variety of periodic summary reports
- Assists in the collection data entry and maintenance of relevant departmental records and databases
- Drafts various documents and correspondence within the department
- Provides support with respect to department related issues; researches and investigates issues
- Maintains current knowledge of all aspects of AUE policies and procedures
- Assists in the organization of presentations activities and events
- Contributes to the development of the university by observing and implementing College and systemwidepolicies and procedures and by participating in extra-curricular activities and community events.
- Identify and secure funding from various sources to support the University mission in line with theuniversity advancement and fundraising plan.
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors ensuring their continued engagement and support for the institution.
- Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors.
