Role Purpose
Why this role matters: As Senior Accountant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and compliance processes. Your expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and UAE financial regulations will drive accurate financial records and support the companys audit readiness helping to establish a strong financial foundation. Your contributions will be key to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall success of the organization.
What success looks like: In your first year you will lead the seamless execution of monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will improve the efficiency of financial reconciliations streamline payment processes and act as a key point of contact for audits. Your expertise will contribute directly to the stability and growth of the companys financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Execute the monthend and yearend closing processes in SAP S/4HANA ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage and validate vendor and customer invoices resolving complex discrepancies and ensuring timely processing.
Handle prepayment schedules depreciation calculations accruals and provisions ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and IFRS.
Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts resolving variances promptly.
Conduct bank reconciliations identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare and post complex journal entries including recurring and ad hoc entries.
Oversee vendor payments using SAP and banking platforms ensuring compliance with internal controls and timelines.
Conduct vendor account reconciliations resolving disputed balances and ensuring accuracy.
Reconcile intercompany transactions and coordinate the issuance of intercompany invoices.
Ensure compliance in reviewing and processing employee expense claims.
Support audit preparations providing detailed schedules and serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff offering guidance on SAP processes and best practices.
Qualifications & Attributes
Were seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline; CPA ACCA or CMA preferred.
Experience: 57 years of progressive accounting experience with mandatory UAE experience.
Technical Skills: Musthaves: Expertlevel proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and advanced financial accounting skills. Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations IFRS standards and financial compliance requirements.
Unique Attributes:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex accounting issues independently.
Excellent communication skills capable of collaborating with crossfunctional teams and international subsidiaries.
Proven leadership potential with experience mentoring junior finance team members.
Detailoriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial discrepancies.
