Job Description

Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE.

Key Requirements:

  • BSc. in Quantity Surveying from a reputable South African University
  • 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveying specialising in roads bridge and infrastructure projects

Main Duties:

  • Handle postcontract functions including interim and final payments variations cash flows claims and contractual correspondence.
  • Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Advise on contractors resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
  • Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations.
  • Record and check measurements of work completed.
  • Prepare variations and dayworks.
  • Monitor and update the final cost estimate for the contract.
  • Review negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of the team.
  • Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting
