Primary Class Teacher Key Responsibilities
Deputise for the Principal where appropriate
Manage selfevaluation and the construction and publication of the Primary Phase Development Plan
Manage the annual publication of detailed Key Stage 1 and 2 reviews
Oversee the annual review and publication of the Student and Parent Handbooks
Oversee the publication of a weekly Primary Newsletter
Manage Primary School content on the school website
Contribute to all school marketing and liaison activities including Open Days and other events
Liaison with feeder schools and external agencies
Actively promote the establishment of effective links with external agencies
The preparation and deployment of the Primary phase budget in conjunction with the Finance Manager
Monitor and respond to all curriculum initiatives at international and local levels
Perform all playground duties on time and with due diligence to safeguard Aspen pupils.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect pupils equipment materials and facilities.
Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing pupil life and conduct.
Ensure that all necessary health and safety rules and procedures are being followed.
Maintain an awareness of all the health and safety measures to be taken when in school.
Skills Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of two years of school experience as a Primary Class Teacher.
Good oral and written communication skills
Willing attitude to be a part of the school team
Strong sense of professionalism
Safeguarding and welfare of children
Excellent communication skills and command of the English language in spoken and written form
A collaborative teamplayer with excellent interpersonal skills
Intercultural awareness creative
