ABAP SAP Consultant

Responsibility:

• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application

issues and providing timely solutions.

• Developing technical specifications for SAP custom report or interface or

enhancement or form to solve complex business problems based on end user

functional requirements.

• Developing ABAP development that conform to the functional and technical

specifications.

• Planning and executing unit testing, string testing, and integration testing

• Support all levels of testing, problem solving and bug fixing Performance tuning

of programs.

• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, unit

testing and implementation phases of project.

• Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions.

• Engage with other technical team members in the design, delivery, and

deployment of solutions.

• Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as

providing on call support as required by the team.

• Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

• Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.

SAP ABAP Developer requirements and qualifications:

• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in computer fields. • Minimum of 5 years of ABAP experience SAP ABAP Programming with SAP

development tools.

• Strong Knowledge in Object Orientation & WRICEF development

• Strong Knowledge and experience in on SAP ABAP Data Dictionary, Dialog

Programming and in developing User Exits, SMART Forms, SAP scripts,

Business ADD INS BADIS, BDC programs, IDOCS, BAPI & LSMW.

• Storing in debugging the ABAP code.

• Good Knowledge in Web Service development (provider and consumer roles).

• Knowledge with ABAP development with emphasis on SAP Modules (HR, FICO,

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

• Good time-management skills

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications
