Job Description

    • Facilitating regular Shutdown scheduling meeting with production and maintenance stakeholders
    • Developing schedules based on negotiated production unit priorities and current business environment to optimize the use of site wide available resources
      • Ensures appropriate scheduling logic including amount of preventative maintenance work vs. corrective work
    • Providing feedback to planners on quality of job plan detail and logic
    • Publishing and updating daily and weekly schedules to affected work groups during shutdown execution
      • Adjusting schedules to accommodate changing priorities or available resources
    • Responding to and participating in the timely execution of critical priority jobs
      • Assists shutdown execution in the re-alignment of schedule based on process needs and the current priorities and risks during shutdown.
    • Monitoring and tracking daily shutdown schedule compliance and publishing results.
    • Providing reports on resource utilization and providing input into any staffing changes that may be necessary based on historical trends and forecasts

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • Demonstrated organizational, Planning and Scheduling skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling
  • Clear view of interdependencies between production and maintenance processes
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling software
