Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Chef De Partie to join the Pre-Opening team at our Premier Inn Dubai Barsha Heights!

What is the purpose of the job?

As Chef De Partie you will be responsible for amazing the patrons of our hotel with excellent cooking according to the chef’s recipes and specifications. Your work will be an important factor to our guest’s contentment. The ultimate goal is to expand our F&B reputation to ensure long-term success.

Main responsibilities include:

Â.

Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues

Â.

Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations

Â.

Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)

Â.

Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes

Â.

Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

Â.

Enforce strict health and hygiene standards

Â.

Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Requirements

Knowledge:

Â.

Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role

Â.

Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes

Â.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Â.

Knowledge of best cooking practices

Â.

Ability to work well in a team.

Â.

Excellent listening and communication skills.

Â.

Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.

Â.

Passion for delivering great food and service.

Â.

Multitasking and organizational ability.

Â.

Available to work shifts during weekends and holidays.

Experience:

Â.

2 years’ experience in the Hotel F&B industry as CDP

Â.

5 years’ experience in a in a 3-star and above hotel environment

Qualification

Â.

Culinary school diploma

Â.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Â.

Qualification from a culinary school.

Â.

Past experience working in a similar role.
