Fashion Intern - Harper’s Bazaar Arabia (Unpaid)

Looking for a fashion intern to join the Harper’s Bazaar Arabia team for 3-6 months !

Key Responsibilities

- PR & Brands

• Contact PR & brands for available press samples & cut-outs
• Download the high-resolution images
• Sort them according to the collection & product type

- Press Samples

• Request press samples from PR/brands
• Unpack, prepare and create inventory of samples received
• Do store pulls and returns when required
• Research latest trends and brands

- Photoshoot preparation

• Create presentation with all confirmed looks
• Organise delivery and logistics for looks to arrive for the photoshoot
• Pack, prepare and steam all garments and ready to shoot
• Always prepare and replenish the stylist kit
• Go through all looks with head stylist and organise them in chronological order
• Assist the head stylist on set
• Write the credits of each look
• After each photoshoot, write all credits on a word document and include the images you took of each look

- Beauty room

• We always keep our samples and products on the first floor
• Always keep the room organise
• When asked to store beauty products, organise them by category on the shelves
• The props are stored in the Harper’s Bazaar closet in the beauty room on the fourth floor

Employment Type

• Unpaid – any work/shoot related expenses will be reimbursed
• Visa/medical insurance will not be provided
• Full time position (Sun-Thurs 9 to 6pm) but can be discussed

Requirements

• Proficiency in word, PowerPoint and excel
• Fluent English is necessary – Arabic is a plus
• Thrives in high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to work independently and with a team
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Having a driver’s license is a plus
