Job Description
A mortgage broker acts as an intermediary between the lender and borrower when executing a mortgage. The broker works for the real estate buyer and assists with the loan origination process. A broker will evaluate the financial standing of their client and typically present several options of lenders and loan programs suited to the buyer’s needs. The broker then negotiates with the lender on behalf of the buyer.
