BIM Modeler

Roles and responsibilities

Stantec is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Design BIM Modeler to advance our architectural practice.

As an Interior Design BIM Modeler, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of interior spaces for a variety of projects. You will use your expertise in BIM modeling to create detailed 3D models of interior spaces, incorporating architectural and MEP elements. You will collaborate with our team of architects, engineers, and designers to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of interior spaces using BIM software
• Incorporate Architectural, Structural and MEP elements
  

into the BIM model

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and analyze project documents to ensure compliance with design standards and specifications
• Provide support to project teams and assist with problem-solving
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology
• Contribute to the development and improvement of BIM standards and processes within the company
  

Qualifications

• BA minimum in Interior Design, Architecture or Relevant Engineering Field
• 5 years minimum working in GCC and International Consultancy firm.
• Full working knowledge of Revit
• Working knowledge of CAD is advantageous
• Good verbal and written English Communication Skills
• Ability to review mark-ups and challenge any discrepancies before implementing.
• Can independently detail interior fit-out works and joinery without supervision
• Understanding of ID deliverables and typical drawings/documentations which are to be cross referenced with drawings.
• Can manage their own day to day workload and meet completion dates for given tasks.
• Work alongside BIM coordinators as required.
