Job Description
Steward
Join our dynamic team as a Steward and play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. We are looking for a hardworking and detailoriented individual who takes pride in maintaining high hygiene standards in a fastpaced hospitality environment.
What you will be doing:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment utensils and dishware to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing and kitchen areas including floors walls and workstations.
- Handle and operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly while following hotel sustainability guidelines.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the kitchen team
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment handling.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a teamplayer mindset.
