Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst – Regional Controlling to join our team and play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and controls within Al Futtaim Real Estate. This position is critical in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, implementing robust financial controls, and facilitating the external audit process for our holding companies.
What you will do:
Key Accountability 1
Responsible for:
Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in accurate and timely preparation of financial reports for the Real Estate division.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for Holding companies.
- Collaborate with business units to gather budget inputs and assumptions.
- Financial Controls: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of strong financial controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Audit Support: Track and manage audit findings, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Key Accountability 2
Responsible for:
Process Optimization & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting and consolidation processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement process automation solutions.
- Maintain user guides and documentation for financial reporting and budgeting processes.
Desired candidate profile
- Collecting Data: Gathering relevant data from various sources, such as databases, surveys, reports, or external systems, to analyze and derive insights.
- Data Cleaning and Processing: Ensuring data accuracy by cleaning, validating, and organizing it for analysis, addressing missing or inconsistent data.
- Analyzing Data: Using statistical tools and software to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights.
- Reporting Insights: Creating reports or dashboards to present findings in a clear and actionable way for stakeholders.
- Assisting the Regional Financial Controller with other tasks as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What equips you for the role:
Minimum Experience:
- 2-5 year's experience in Financial accounting, GL management and audit management.
- Accounting qualification is a plus.
- Previous experience within Real Estate business is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelors / ACCA / CA or any other finance related degree.
