Overview of the role:
- The primary focus of the role will be to procure cost effective parts for day-to-day requirements of vehicle service, repair, and refurbishment. Expand the part stock level on service-related items for all brand vehicles.
What you will do:
- Monitor sales and assist to achieve branch net sales and profits in comparison to targets on daily and monthly basis.
- Order day to day requirement and deliver the parts as per estimated time of arrival , measured through monthly review report.
- Responsible for perpetual and annual stock inventory for effective stock management, sufficient supplies to market needs and avoid any over stock situations.
- Assist sales and service departments to maximize accessories stock.
- Perform team purchase orders.
- Procure parts through cost effective method for used vehicle refurbishment which will meet FPC standards.
- Assist team in achieving customer service values in meeting the needs and expectations of the customers.

About the Team:
- Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders.
What equips you for the role:
- High School Diploma.
- 3 to 5 years overall experience within automotive parts operation.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Customer Assistance:
- Assist customers, both internal (service department) and external, in identifying and ordering parts or accessories for vehicles.
- Provide advice on the correct part or accessory based on the customer’s vehicle make, model, and year.
- Respond to customer queries about part specifications, availability, and pricing.

Parts Ordering and Sourcing:
- Order parts from suppliers or manufacturers, ensuring the correct parts are delivered on time.
- Keep track of parts availability and inform customers about the expected arrival of parts or if a backorder occurs.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure parts are available when needed for repairs or servicing.

Inventory Management:
- Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of automotive parts and accessories in the parts department.
- Regularly check stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to maintain an adequate inventory.
- Keep records of parts sales, stock movements, and returns.

Processing Orders and Sales:
- Process customer orders, ensuring that parts are invoiced correctly and in a timely manner.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and assist with payment processing when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation for each transaction, including customer information, parts ordered, and payment methods.

Parts Delivery:
- Coordinate the delivery of parts to customers or service technicians, ensuring that parts are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of parts before delivery to prevent damage during transit.

Collaboration with Service Technicians:
- Work closely with service technicians and mechanics to ensure they have the necessary parts to complete vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Provide technicians with part numbers, pricing, and detailed information about the parts they require.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with customers by offering exceptional service and advice on automotive parts.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and assist with any future parts needs.

Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest automotive parts, trends, and technologies.
- Continuously develop knowledge about parts catalog systems, vehicle models, and aftermarket parts options.

Quality Control:
- Inspect parts for defects or damage upon receipt and ensure that they meet the required specifications.
- Ensure that all parts are properly stored and labeled to prevent mix-ups.

Warranty and Returns Management:
- Handle returns and exchanges of faulty or incorrect parts, working with customers to resolve issues.
- Manage warranty claims for defective parts and ensure that customers receive appropriate replacements or refunds.
