Conduct quality inspections on mechanical systems components and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Review and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications to verify quality and workmanship.
Perform inprocess and final inspections documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT) and mechanical integrity checks to identify defects and ensure reliability.
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports test records and quality documentation.
Monitor adherence to international mechanical standards such as ASME API and ISO 9001.
Collaborate with project engineers contractors and suppliers to resolve qualityrelated issues.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and testing equipment.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action implementation.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations in mechanical inspections.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in mechanical quality control/assurance in industries such as construction oil & gas or manufacturing.
Certification in QA/QC (CSWIP AWS API ASNT Level II or equivalent) is preferred.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of mechanical quality assurance and control processes.
Proficiency in inspection techniques testing procedures and NDT methods.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings welding symbols and material specifications.
Excellent documentation reporting and analytical skills.
Strong communication and problemsolving abilities.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME API ASTM ISO etc.).
