Job Description
Job Title: QA/QC Inspector (Mechanical)
Location: UAE
Experience: Mechanical
Salary: Depends upon experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections on mechanical systems components and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications to verify quality and workmanship.
- Perform inprocess and final inspections documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT) and mechanical integrity checks to identify defects and ensure reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports test records and quality documentation.
- Monitor adherence to international mechanical standards such as ASME API and ISO 9001.
- Collaborate with project engineers contractors and suppliers to resolve qualityrelated issues.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and testing equipment.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action implementation.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations in mechanical inspections.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical quality control/assurance in industries such as construction oil & gas or manufacturing.
- Certification in QA/QC (CSWIP AWS API ASNT Level II or equivalent) is preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical quality assurance and control processes.
- Proficiency in inspection techniques testing procedures and NDT methods.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings welding symbols and material specifications.
- Excellent documentation reporting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and problemsolving abilities.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME API ASTM ISO etc.).
