Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards and deliver highquality results within budget and timelines. This role requires strong technical expertise project management skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan design and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects including buildings roads bridges and other structures.
- Prepare detailed drawings blueprints and specifications using CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Analyze survey reports maps and other data to plan projects effectively.
- Estimate project costs prepare budgets and track expenses to ensure cost control.
- Collaborate with architects contractors and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes environmental regulations and health and safety guidelines.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure ontime completion.
- Prepare and present project reports proposals and status updates to management and clients.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit STAAD or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes materials and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
