Job Description
Leading supermarket is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Supermarket General Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of supermarket operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the retail and supermarket industry with a proven track record in procurement inventory management customer service and team leadership. Specific expertise in managing meat poultry and baked goods categories is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the supermarket ensuring high levels of efficiency and service standards.
- Lead procurement and import activities to maintain optimal stock levels and product quality.
- Monitor and manage inventory tracking ensuring accurate records and minimizing waste.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive customer relations.
- Focus on the development and growth of key categories such as meat poultry and baked goods.
- Train manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing operations in a leading local supermarket .
- Strong expertise in procurement import management inventory tracking and customer service.
- Specific experience in managing meat poultry and baked goods categories is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment and adapt to changing business needs.
