Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software and bookkeeping systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
