Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Stress Engineer to join our team for the engineering or construction phase of oil and gas projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience with EPC contractors strong expertise in pipeline stress analysis and prior experience working on ADNOC projects. Immediate availability is essential for this position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform pipeline stress analysis using industrystandard software to ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and project specifications.
  • Evaluate pipeline flexibility thermal expansion and load conditions to identify and mitigate potential stressrelated issues.
  • Provide technical input during the design phase to optimize pipeline routing and support selection.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables such as stress analysis reports isometric drawings and material specifications.
  • Conduct field support during construction including troubleshooting and resolving stressrelated concerns.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process mechanical and structural engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards as well as international codes such as ASME B31.4 and B31.8.
  • Contribute to risk assessments HAZOP studies and constructability reviews.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation and support project reporting requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring that project timelines budgets and quality standards are met.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Pipeline Stress Engineer with an EPC contractor preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience with ADNOC projects and familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications.
  • Proficiency in stress analysis software such as Caesar II or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of international pipeline design codes and standards (ASME API etc.).
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  • Immediate availability to join the project.
