We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Stress Engineer to join our team for the engineering or construction phase of oil and gas projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience with EPC contractors strong expertise in pipeline stress analysis and prior experience working on ADNOC projects. Immediate availability is essential for this position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pipeline stress analysis using industrystandard software to ensure compliance with applicable codes standards and project specifications.
- Evaluate pipeline flexibility thermal expansion and load conditions to identify and mitigate potential stressrelated issues.
- Provide technical input during the design phase to optimize pipeline routing and support selection.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables such as stress analysis reports isometric drawings and material specifications.
- Conduct field support during construction including troubleshooting and resolving stressrelated concerns.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process mechanical and structural engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards as well as international codes such as ASME B31.4 and B31.8.
- Contribute to risk assessments HAZOP studies and constructability reviews.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and support project reporting requirements.
- Assist in ensuring that project timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Pipeline Stress Engineer with an EPC contractor preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Proven experience with ADNOC projects and familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications.
- Proficiency in stress analysis software such as Caesar II or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of international pipeline design codes and standards (ASME API etc.).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
