Job Description
- Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure of the oil and gas company, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Provide technical support to end-users in the oil and gas company, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to design and implement IT solutions tailored to the needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for IT security and data protection.
- Monitor system performance and security, implementing necessary measures to safeguard critical data and infrastructure.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the oil and gas industry, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations, ensuring clear and concise documentation for future reference.
