Tailor Upholstery

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tailoring Services:

   • Create repair and alter uniforms linens curtains and other fabric items as required.
   • Conduct fittings to ensure proper measurements and alterations for staff uniforms.
   • Work with a variety of fabrics including luxury and highdurability materials.

2. Upholstery Services:

   • Repair and reupholster furniture such as chairs sofas and headboards ensuring they meet brand standards.
   • Replace or restore fabric padding and other materials to maintain the propertys aesthetic appeal.

3. Maintenance and Quality Control:

   • Inspect and assess upholstery curtains and soft furnishings for wear and damage.
   • Ensure all items comply with health safety and quality standards.
   • Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace.

4. Collaboration:

   • Coordinate with the housekeeping and engineering teams to manage repair schedules.
   • Assist in planning and implementing upgrades to fabricrelated furnishings across the property.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a tailor or upholsterer in a luxury hotel or highend establishment.
• Strong knowledge of sewing techniques fabric types and upholstery processes.
• Ability to use sewing machines cutting tools and upholstery equipment.
• Eye for detail precision and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
