- Keeps the Assstant Securty Manager/ Drector Of Securty informed of all security related matters. Depending on distribution of Fire Security responsibility coordinates with the Director of Engineering in this matter.
- Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with security problems and loss control.
- Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials
- Proper grooming at all times
- Attend training classes as per schedule
- Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
- Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
- Trains Security employees in all Resort regulations and all factors affecting the operations of the Resort. Fire prevention and safety procedures basic fire fighting life saving techniques preservation of crime scene and evidence actions duties and powers where crime is detected action in crisis situations report writing public relations and psychology.
- Supervises the daily processing in distribution of security reports to the Management.
- Keeps all records and report concerning security matters and Resort businesses confidential
- Is fully trained and prepared for all emergency situations as per procedures.
- To evaluate on a continuing basis the possible threat to Security.
- In close coordination with engineering department to conduct regular preventive maintenance of all safety equipment
- Supervises that all employees locking in with the proximity card reader located at the security post at the staff entrance.
- Strictly controls in and out backofthehouse of contractors visitors and suppliers. Visitor passes to be issued and controlled.
- Frequent control and supervision of all security posts including CCTV room.
- Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the Resorts emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
- Execution of regular/ technical skills training.
- Reviews Duty Manager/Night Manager book daily and takes corrective action when security is concerned.
- Reviews Security logbook daily and takes action if needed informs Security Manager.
- Maintains a monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balance of all security staff
- Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
- Keeps updating the emergency manual with appropriate procedures and forms with the consultation of Security Manager.
- To train existing employees and new comers on a regular basis with live fire drills.
- Conducts skills/technical training within his/her area of responsibility on regular basis.
General/ Miscellaneous:
- Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the hotels emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
- Execution of regular technical/skills training.
- Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
University Degree in any field.Minimum 2 years in a similar role with a five star hotel preferably in the UAE.Team management skills computer skills and excellent communication skills.
