Roles and responsibilities
- Providing services and tools to enable the organisation to meet its quality commitments and continuously improve performance.
- Ensuring the appropriate management system elements are in place to support business needs.
- Ensuring assurance activities are appropriately scheduled and resources are in place to verify compliance against all applicable legislation, regulations and internal/external requirements.
- Participating in the development and delivery of the regional strategy, including the alignment of quality objectives.
- Ensuring quality objectives are aligned with the overall regional strategy as well as global quality objectives.
- Planning and assuring the management system to support and provide guidance, enabling delivery of quality excellence to our clients and the wider business.
- Advising, guiding and supporting leadership, management, operations, shared services and employee groups on quality improvements, issues and decisions.
- Managing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external parties, which may include project leads, external certification bodies, shared services departments and operational directors.
- Ensuring sufficient and competent resources are in place to effectively carry out all regional quality assurance and management activities.
- Monitoring and measuring of regional quality performance against objectives, including identifying trends, opportunities for improvement and predicting quality related risks across the business.
- Ensuring appropriate review of the management system to determine its effectiveness and any areas of continual improvement (i.e. management reviews).
- Initiating, implementing, promoting, leading and supporting quality projects and initiatives including global projects and initiatives, as appropriate.
- Maintaining a strong and current working knowledge of applicable quality practices, procedures and regulations.
- Participating in crisis management, as required and request by the crisis response team.
- Managing the regional quality team ensuring they have all resources, training and empowerment required to undertake and complete their duties.
- Developing and leading activities used to promote and enhance quality culture, behaviours and awareness throughout the business.
- Ensuring that all quality-related communications, including lessons learned, bulletins, best practices, are planned and delivered when required.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- BSc, BEng, diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the field of quality in multi-disciplinary activities and management systems.
- Minimum of 5 years quality auditing experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a team, shared services group or program.
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System lead auditor certification and/or training.
- Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 standard.
- Chartered Member of a professional body (i.e. CQI, IRCA, ASQ).
- Experience planning, developing and delivering quality-related training.
- Experience planning, managing and delivering assurance programs.
- Experience participating in and managing continual improvement initiatives.
- Capacity to adapt to evolving quality and business requirements and to drive continual improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and delegate tasks.
- Flexibility/versatility combined with initiative, drive and ability to manage one’s own workload and priorities, including delivery to challenging deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective communicator and able to communicate with regional teams in the local language(s) used.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office programs, especially SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
