Job Description
- Install repair and maintain pipes valves fittings drainage systems and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Collaborate with general contractors electricians and other construction professionals.
- Follow building plans and blueprints.
- Respond to diagnose and resolve plumbing emergencies.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Light construction carpentry painting plastering flooring ceiling and electrical work as required.
- Prepare bids budgets and cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of job orders work descriptions and materials used.
- Respond and attend to guest room maintenance requests.
- Understand and operate electrical plumbing refrigeration and boiler systems
- Check for new maintenance requests from the Message box and update remarks once the task is completed
- Perform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets unclogging drains and repairing all types of hardware and electrical equipment including lamps air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
- Perform Domestic water and pool water daily chemical tests and ensure the chemical levels are in line with DM standards.
- Perform Shower head disinfection Job in guest rooms and update record.
- Test troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment.
- To clean lubricate protect and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
- To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
Qualifications :
Working in the same capacity preferably in 4* or 5* Hotels with UAE Experience.
Good communication and customer contact skills; good problemresolution skills
Fluency in English additional languages are a plus
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
