Roles and responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring prompt service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations, showcasing a thorough knowledge of the menu items, including wine pairings and specialties.
- Take orders accurately, relaying them to the kitchen staff and ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are accommodated.
- Serve food and beverages with elegance and finesse, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and adhering to the restaurant's standards for presentation and hygiene.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, anticipating customers' needs and promptly addressing any concerns or additional requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new customers, as well as assisting with general restaurant upkeep as needed.
What You Will Bring
- One to two years’ experience working in Food & Beverage preferred.
- Knowledge of French and Mediterranean cuisine, alcoholic beverages and wines.
- Excellent customer service skills with great enthusiasm, superior interpersonal skills, result oriented and highly self-motivated.
- Professional, service oriented, eager to help coworkers, adoptable with changes.
- High attention to detail, strong organization skills, result orientation and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of food allergens.
- Knowledge of MICROS preferred.
