Roles and responsibilities
To provide HSE leadership in implementing Group HSE objectives. Ensuring effective implementation of the organisation's HSE standards and procedures. Monitor and guide HSE trends and drive implementation of suitable HSE initiatives to mitigate risk.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Support and lead the implementation of all EnerMech Management System procedures and guides
- Communicates information on the Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness and
- culture
- Develop and implement the EnerMech Audit programme on an annual basis and ensure corrective actions are followed through
- Be accountable to the Regional HSE Manager for the delivery of HSE objectives
- Supports the organization on HSE matters as the primary point of contact
- Reviews and assesses requests for pre-qualification or tender, and compiles required documentation in preparation for project deliverables
- Support the project management teams, engineering departments and business development personnel as appropriate
- Develops and facilitates project QHSE risk assessments
- Ensure the business works in accordance with accredited standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHA
- Prepares and maintains required HSE records and reports
- Supports line managers during HSE inspections, and manages internal, sub-contractor and third party audits
- Supports investigations as per the latest responsibility matrix and analyses of, and reports findings to management on:
- Non-conformity reports and root cause analysis
- Client satisfaction program data
- Incidents, near misses and damages
- Customer complaints
Desired candidate profile
- Develops and monitors HSE performance, progress, preventive and corrective action plans; hold line managers to account for completing their assigned action items
- Reports against internal client KPI's
- Champion the HSE compliance in the onshore & offshore work place
- Lead the deployment of the EnerMech Engagement Team (EET) in all applicable locations; secure support from all line managers; support the EET to define and achieve their annual plan
- Improve the behavioral aspects of HSE in the workforce
- Deliver HSE projects within budget revenue & schedules targets
- Liaise with external bodies on HSE matters
- Advise business lines to ensure clients' needs are met
- Development of learning and continuous improvement culture within the organization
- Responsibility for line management of people
Requirements
Essential:
- NEBOSH Certificate (Environmental and Health & Safety)
- ISO Auditor certification
- Incident Investigation
- Team Leadership experience
- Knowledgeable on the ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
- Experience in a similar role covering international accountabilities
Preferred:
- NEBOSH diploma (obtained or in progress)
- Chartered member of a HSEQ institute
