Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute stormwater management plans including the design and analysis of stormwater drainage systems flood control solutions and water quality measures.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to simulate stormwater runoff flooding scenarios and drainage network performance.
- Perform site assessments collect relevant data and evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure.
- Create design drawings reports and technical documentation for stormwater infrastructure including storm drains culverts retention ponds
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate stormwater solutions into larger site development projects.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations including permitting and approvals processes.
- Develop designs that adhere to the quality standards ensuring compliance with the companys QA/QC processes.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in stormwater modeling and design.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM InfoWorks ICM and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of hydrology hydraulics and stormwater regulations.
- Excellent communication teamwork and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
