Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our innovative design studio you will lead and contribute to a wide range of highprofile landscape architecture projects in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the creation of conceptual designs construction drawings and specifications for diverse landscape projects
- Manage project teams and collaborate with clients architects engineers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct site assessments and analyze environmental conditions to inform design decisions
- Create sustainable and culturally appropriate landscape designs that thrive in Dubais hot climate
- Prepare detailed planting plans irrigation designs and material specifications
- Oversee project budgets timelines and quality control measures
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the landscape architecture practice
- Participate in business development activities including proposal writing and client presentations
- Stay updated on industry trends sustainable practices and local regulations to ensure innovative and compliant designs
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture with a focus on projects in urban environments
- Valid landscape architect license; local certification is a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software
- Strong knowledge of plant species suitable for arid climates and sustainable irrigation practices
- Experience in developing technical proposals cost estimates and managing projects
- Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainable design practices in the UAE
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
