Roles and responsibilities
- Organize and supervise regular gym / fitness related activities and events to maximize members enjoyment / use of fitness center and to keep ahead with our competition
- Develop and maintain professionally safe and effective fitness procedures, programs and activities in the fitness center and ensure proper fitness practice at all times
- Co-ordinate the aerobics / exercise program and studio usage and continually seek ways of introducing new ideas to maximize revenues
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness center ensuring clear standards are always met and equipment is always in good working order
- Aware of the rules and regulations of the gym and how to deal with guest applications on memberships and their process
What we need from you
- Good level of spoken/written English
- Flexibility in shifts & tasks
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar environment (4-5* hotel)
- Gym-instructor / Personal training certificate in Level 2 or Level 3 along with First Aid
- Leading and instructing individual or group fitness classes, such as strength training, yoga, or aerobic sessions.
- Assessing clients’ fitness levels and developing customized workout plans.
- Offering guidance on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage.
- Monitoring clients during workouts to ensure safety and providing corrective feedback.
- Motivating clients to maintain focus on their goals and achieve optimal results.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the gym.
- Providing advice on nutrition and general wellness to complement fitness training.
