Project Oversight and Coordination:
- Lead the engineering team in the development of architectural projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and the design vision is realized.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers (civil, mechanical, electrical) to ensure that the architectural design is feasible, functional, and compliant with safety codes and building regulations.
- Oversee project scheduling and the coordination of design and engineering efforts to meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Technical Design Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and architects in the design and construction phases.
- Lead the creation and review of engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring that they comply with relevant building codes, zoning laws, and client requirements.
- Work closely with architects to ensure the structural, mechanical, and electrical systems integrate seamlessly with the architectural design.

Quality Control and Compliance:
- Review architectural designs for technical soundness, ensuring the designs are feasible, sustainable, and aligned with engineering best practices.
- Ensure that all engineering and architectural designs are compliant with local regulations, industry standards, and building codes (e.g., International Building Code, LEED standards for sustainability).
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the final design and construction adhere to the highest standards of engineering integrity and architectural aesthetics.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, local authorities, and consultants.
- Lead and participate in client meetings, presenting engineering solutions, offering design alternatives, and addressing concerns or challenges during the project.
- Collaborate with the construction team to address any site-specific issues that arise during the construction phase and ensure technical drawings are accurately followed.

Sustainability and Innovation:
- Ensure that the project design incorporates sustainable and energy-efficient engineering solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest building materials, construction technologies, and environmental standards to implement innovative solutions that improve the functionality, sustainability, and energy efficiency of the project.
- Lead efforts to incorporate green design principles and achieve LEED or other sustainability certifications.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Monitor and manage the engineering aspects of the project budget, ensuring costs are kept within approved limits.
- Assess resource needs, including the allocation of engineering personnel and materials, to ensure timely project completion.
- Participate in the development of cost estimates for engineering solutions and assist in making decisions that balance cost, quality, and technical feasibility.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to the engineering aspects of the project, such as structural concerns, design conflicts, or compliance issues.
- Lead or participate in problem-solving sessions to address challenges that arise during the design or construction phases.
- Ensure that the project meets safety and quality standards while addressing any unforeseen issues or constraints that may arise.

Mentorship and Team Leadership:
- Mentor junior engineers, architects, and technical staff, offering guidance on technical skills, design principles, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and ensure that the team adheres to project goals, timelines, and standards.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence within the team.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure that all engineering designs, reports, and project documentation are accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of engineering reports and presentations for internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain detailed records of decisions, changes, and approvals during the project lifecycle for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Desired candidate profile
- JOB PURPOSE:
- Provides Architectural Engineering leadership for PMC project team during Execute stage.
- Provide oversight and checking of Architectural and Building Services Engineering for the EPC stage of ADNOC RLNG Project.
- Ensure EPC contractor Architectural and Building Services Engineering works comply with ADNOC RLNG specifications and schedule, delivering value and cost effective, fit-for-purpose solutions to meet ADNOC RLNG objectives.
- QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 17 years of experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries, preferably with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in EPC Organisation with 2 years a similar position on major international LNG, Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Must have experience on LNG projects.
