Our client is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team and drive sales growth by fostering relationships with key players in the industry and promoting their product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with traders, joineries, carpentries, building material distributors, and other key stakeholders in the MDF, Melamine MDF, HPL, and Edge Banding industry.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and interior designers to specify the products in their projects.
Sales Development
• Promote and sell products to industry stakeholders.
• Drive sales by converting specifications and inquiries into sales orders.
Specification Conversion
• Convert project specifications received from joineries and carpentries into confirmed sales orders.
• Manage inquiries from traders and distributors and ensure they are turned into orders.
Market Engagement
• Gather information on upcoming projects and pitch products to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor competitor activity, including products, pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, and catalog offerings, to refine sales strategies.
Customer Service and Collection
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing product-related queries and concerns.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
CRM and Product Presentation
• Maintain an updated CRM database, tracking client interactions and sales activities.
• Present product benefits and specifications to traders, joineries, and potential clients.
Cross-functional Coordination
• Work closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to align product offerings with client requirements and market trends.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing of building materials such as MDF Board, Melamine MDF Board, and HPL, with a proven track record in the UAE and GCC markets.
• Strong connections with traders, distributors, joineries, and carpentries in the building materials sector.
• In-depth knowledge of laminates, MDF, and related products.
• Fluency in English is required.
• A valid UAE driving license and Emirates ID are mandatory.
