Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and foster lasting relations with key internal & external members and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic leadership, and proactive planning, management, and outreach for public relations initiatives, including government and community affairs programs.
- Keep agency and clients’ management informed on the public policy issues, debates and trends and provide proactive advice on the impact and relevance of these issues to the agency’s business.
- Develop effective internal and external communications strategies and position these communication strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Partial ownership and accountability for all corporate communications plans (internal and external) which include strategic and tactical corporate campaigns, stakeholder communications, vendor liaison, budget management, control and analysis of measurement criteria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, political science, international affairs or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of successful PR campaign execution.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling messaging and pitches.
- Proficiency in media relations, crisis communication, and content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and media contacts.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with PR tools and software for media monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment.
