Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

A Fleet Sales Executive is responsible for selling vehicles to businesses, organizations, or government entities that need multiple vehicles for their operations. The role involves building relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and offering tailored vehicle solutions that meet business requirements. The Fleet Sales Executive is a key driver of revenue in the automotive industry, focusing on high-volume sales and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Generate new business by identifying and targeting potential fleet customers, including corporations, leasing companies, and government organizations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed fleet sales targets.
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and the value proposition tailored to each client’s needs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, including negotiating contracts and securing fleet orders.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any post-sale concerns or service requests.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Analyze client requirements and recommend the most appropriate vehicles and fleet solutions based on their operational needs.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations, tax incentives, or financial policies related to fleet purchases.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales targets and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaboration with Other Departments

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at attracting fleet customers.
  • Collaborate with the finance and after-sales departments to ensure seamless service delivery, including financing options, delivery logistics, and after-sales support.
  • Coordinate with the product team to stay updated on the latest vehicle models, features, and pricing.

Customer Financing and Leasing Options

  • Provide clients with financing and leasing options, explaining the benefits of different plans (e.g., leasing vs. purchasing).
  • Work with financial institutions or in-house finance teams to structure deals that fit the client’s budget and operational needs.

  • Liaise closely with Aftersales Department.
  • Make full use of demo programmed from Principal, as available

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or Diploma
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years work experience in fleet sales.
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Computer literate: MS Office.
