Responsibilities
Lead development of Azizi Venice Opera and future eco-system of arts, culture & entertainment venues / experiences across Azizi developments including mission and vision
Shaping a 5 to 10 years strategy for the venue and eco-system
Responsible for planning and delivery of new facilities, launch and ongoing operations
Responsible for proposing/delivering on key KPIs and positive brand impact for Azizi (immediate and reputational) working within economic parameters to be agreed with Azizi leadership
Responsible for planning and engagement of staff to assure delivery (including area specialists)
Background
Background in operations of a major multi-venue arts center
Experience in delivering social value/engagement to achieve broad community impact and positive reputation working across diverse funding models
Not specifically an artistic programming person, but experienced in what it takes to engage with and delivery world class performance/arts experiences
Ideally experience in launch of new arts centers
Ideally experience in management of capital projects
Ideally experience in environments with high diversity and diverse religious / cultural sensitivities
- Effective communication: Clearly articulate project goals, updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives, team members, clients, and vendors.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, resources, and agreements with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for the project.
- Reporting: Provide regular status reports, progress updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Presentation skills: Present project outcomes, results, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and executives, often involving complex data or technical information.
