JOB PURPOSE:
- As a senior GM Salesperson the candidate will be a strong team player within the existing International Global Markets Sales team a partner to the GM Product Structuring and Client Solutions GCF and GTB and a key collaborator to our colleagues in Investment Banking. The candidate will be expected to drive external client relationships alongside cultivating key internal relationships to benefit the global markets business.
- The candidate will be responsible for selling global markets products and solutions to key Corporate and Investment Banking clients with HQs across the prescribed geographies including but not limited to clients based in Europe and the Americas across the DIG and ENR sectors. It is imperative that the candidate understands the requirements of our clients to deliver a highquality distribution service aligned with our strategic product priorities. The candidate will be expected to develop and innovate our commodities (energy metals Agri carbon) product capabilities and solutions alongside Structuring and Client Solutions Team GM Product and Trading teams
- Identify and cultivate GM cross sell opportunities from the balance sheet commitments within their assigned portfolio of clients with a particular focus on commodities (energy metals Agri) and secondary focus on carbon
- Develop and nurture a strong partnership with Investment Banking to promote and elevate the interests of the GM business with the banks clients
- Ensure high quality execution sales appropriateness and suitability compliant with external regulation and the banks internal policies at all times
- Build and maintain strong relationship with GM product Investment Banking GM Documentations team Legal Compliance Credit Back Office Finance and other support functions
- Strong team player leading by example within the team and across the business dedicating time and patience to training and developing more junior staff members on the team
- Maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism at all times ensuring any issues or breaches of policy with or without financial impact are escalated appropriately to line manager within suitable timeframe.
- Required to participate in relevant client events and offsite events as and when required.
- Coverage & Segment Coverage: Segment Coverage to include the following as required by your assigned line manager.
Product Coverage: As Commodities & Energy Sales specialist the candidate with have a primary focus on developing the commodities franchise ideally with structuring capabilities. Preferred but not essential the candidate is expected to have secondary capabilities as a generalist multiasset salesperson adequate level of competency across FX Rates Investments to support the business as required by assigned line manager.
Geographical Coverage: Europe Americas and Asia Pacific .
Managerial Duties: You may be assigned a managerial duty which can extend to managing an assigned intern graduate AFAQ or assigned junior member of staff. It will be expected that the candidate is committed to training and developing junior members of the International GM Sales team.

Qualifications :
Experience & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years but ideally 710 years relevant experience. International bank experience a must.
