Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to mitigate risks associated with oil and gas operations.
Conduct hazard assessments risk analysis and audits to identify potential safety hazards and develop appropriate controls.
Review and approve design plans specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements particularly ADNOC guidelines.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the design construction and operation phases to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Investigate incidents near misses and breaches of safety protocols to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Keep abreast of industry developments regulatory changes and emerging technologies to continuously improve loss prevention practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in loss prevention engineering within the oil and gas industry.
ADNOC approval and CICPA certification preferred.
Proficiency in risk assessment techniques process safety management and relevant industry standards (e.g. API NFPA).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess potential safety hazards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Proven track record of implementing successful loss prevention programs and initiatives.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Willingness to travel to project sites and offshore locations as required.
