Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for group and leisure segments.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities within the group and leisure markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders to promote the hotel’s offerings.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts for groups, ensuring that all client requirements are met.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to maximize revenue and ensure client satisfaction.
- Organize and participate in sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients.
- Work closely with the hotel operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and market analysis. Provide regular reports to the Director of Sales/Assistant Director of Sales on performance metrics.
- Mentor and train junior sales staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on groups and leisure.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
