Roles and Responsibilities:
- Focusing on collaboration cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, architecture, and business partners
- Be able to analyse business functionality changes and determine features and stories that clearly articulate the full range of amendments/enhancements
- Own the entire lifecycle of the Product and drive product development through your engineering and scrum teams
- Write and refine user stories, prioritise backlogs, manage release activities and support sprint ceremonies
- Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
- Set product objectives, define success metrics and deliver business outcomes, ensuring KPIs and targets are met
- Document process flows to illustrate to-be states and changes to information flow.
- At times be required to engage, drive and manage Supplier priorities and activities pertaining to your prioritised backlog.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in product ownership/management in a team-facing capacity
- Experience in any of the following domains:
- Ground Handling, Airport Operations, and / or Resource Management
- Appetite for building and identifying value, with a customer centric mind-set.
- Well-versed with the tools for the Product Management aspects of software delivery
- Possess strong communication skills and
- Agile and innovative mind-set with the tenacity to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Proven experience with Business Analysis, Wireframing and UML (Unified Modelling Language).

1. Product Management Skills
- Product Vision and Strategy: Ability to define and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Roadmap Creation: Crafting a product roadmap that outlines the strategic direction of the product over time, prioritizing features based on business value, technical feasibility, and market demand.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the business, market, and competition. Ability to balance customer needs with business goals and objectives.
- Market Research: Conducting research to understand customer pain points, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the product throughout its lifecycle, from concept through development, launch, and post-launch support.
2. Agile and Scrum Knowledge
- Agile Methodology: Proficiency in Agile frameworks (especially Scrum) and understanding of Agile principles like Iterative Development, Collaboration, and Customer Feedback.
- Backlog Management: Creating and managing the Product Backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and up-to-date to guide the development team’s work.
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Writing clear, concise user stories and defining acceptance criteria to ensure that the team delivers features that meet business and customer requirements.
- Sprint Planning: Participating in Sprint Planning meetings, breaking down high-level features into smaller tasks, and aligning the team’s work with the product vision and goals.
- Sprint Review and Retrospectives: Leading or participating in Sprint Reviews to assess progress and gather feedback, and Retrospectives to reflect on the team’s processes and improve collaboration.
- Kanban: Knowledge of Kanban boards for managing and prioritizing the workflow and backlog.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, developers, marketers, and UX designers.
- Requirement Gathering: Collecting, analyzing, and prioritizing requirements from different stakeholders, ensuring the product meets both business needs and user expectations.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Managing stakeholder expectations, providing updates, and negotiating priorities when necessary. Balancing the needs of different stakeholders while keeping the overall product vision intact.
- Customer Focus: Ability to advocate for the customer, ensuring that user needs and feedback are prioritized in the development process.
