Job Description

Job Title: Insurance Specialist

Location: Solutions Group UAE

Overview: The Insurance Specialist will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of health insurance and asset and liability insurance for Solutions Group. This position requires close collaboration with the HR Audit and Legal departments and involves reporting directly to the Group Directors. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in insurance management and a comprehensive understanding of risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Health Insurance Management:

    • Oversee and manage the companys health insurance policies ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
    • Liaise with insurance providers to negotiate competitive rates and optimal coverage for employees.
    • Provide support and guidance to HR on employee insurance benefits claims and policy updates.
  2. Asset and Liability Insurance Oversight:

    • Manage the companys asset and liability insurance policies to safeguard against potential financial and operational risks.
    • Collaborate with the audit department to assess and mitigate insurancerelated risks.
    • Ensure all asset and liability insurance policies are up to date and in line with the companys strategic objectives.
  3. Collaboration with Internal Departments:

    • Work closely with HR to align health insurance policies with employee needs and company benefits.
    • Partner with the audit department to perform regular insurance reviews and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
    • Coordinate with the legal department to ensure all insurance contracts and policies comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  4. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on insurance matters to the Group Directors.
    • Maintain accurate records of all insurance policies claims renewals and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Risk Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance management preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance asset and liability insurance policies and risk assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance compliance and legal requirements.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple insurance policies and projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic insurance solutions that align with company goals.
