Application Specialist – Auto After Sales position works as part of the application support team, to assist with solution support and development activities. It provides a dedicated and professional solution knowledge base, together with deployment and automotive domain expertise.
What You Will Do
Application Management
- The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to
- To manage, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain Automotive domain solutions to agreed service level standards.
- Develops and maintains Functional documentation for solution modifications.
- Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.
- Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Security Standards and strengthen internal controls.
Solution Delivery
- Work with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions.
- Adheres to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices.
- Estimate and deliver multiple projects assignments and system change requests as per agreed resourcing and timelines with required quality.
Other Key Responsibilities
- To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics as one IT team.
- Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
- Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

What Equips You For The Role
- The candidate will provide an expert level of skills and knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of Automotive application and business process development in Passenger and Heavy vehicle after sales. The primary solution focus area of the job is SAP IS Auto Dealer Business Management(7.0).
- Minimum of five years of experience in the design, configuration, testing, debugging, delivery and support of SAP Automotive process.
- Well versed with SAP DBM and integration with FI.
- Familiar with Warranty, MRSS, CATS and NWBC.
- Knowledge of SAP MM is preferred.
- Experience in integrating SAP IS Auto with third party applications.
- Knowledge of ABAP is desirable.
- Technical trouble shot, Root cause analysis.
- Liaise with the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.
- Develops and maintains documentation for Technical solution modification.
