Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Grow the BizApp Business

  • Drive an increase in the BizApp business by expanding BizApps sales.

Sales Revenue and Deal Closure:

  • Close deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Focus on maximizing sales revenue for Microsoft and Tableau.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with high-value clients.
  • Regularly engage with clients to review solutions, ensuring a minimum customer retention rate of 85% and consistently high customer satisfaction scores.

Operations, Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Regularly track and report sales metrics, including lead conversion, customer acquisition costs, and account profitability, focusing on refining sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

Professional Development and Industry Engagement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and enhance skills through training and events. Apply new knowledge to improve sales strategies and client interactions.

What Equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant and Tableau Desktop Specialist are advantageous.

Minimum Experience:

  • Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of proven sales experience in technology solutions, including Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Azure hosting services, Power Apps, and Tableau. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships is essential.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the technology sector, particularly enterprise software solutions, is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure services, Power Apps, and Tableau. Ability to tailor solutions to client needs and drive sales effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, presenting complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and build strong client relationships.
  • Sales and Business Development: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow the business. Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to expand market presence.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple sales initiatives simultaneously, focusing on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in sales and technology. Active pursuit of industry trends and best practices.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired candidate profile

1. Leadership and Team Management

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Training and Development: Onboard new sales team members and provide ongoing training to develop their skills in selling, product knowledge, and customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Performance Management: Set clear performance goals for individual sales reps, monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Offer one-on-one coaching to help salespeople overcome challenges, improve techniques, and achieve their potential.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve any conflicts or disputes within the team and maintain a positive work environment.

2. Sales Strategy Development

  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the organization’s objectives, ensuring team efforts are focused on high-priority opportunities.
  • Target Setting: Establish sales targets for the team, regions, or product lines, and monitor progress against these goals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitor activity, and industry developments to adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Pricing and Product Positioning: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns based on market needs and competitive landscape.

3. Sales Performance Monitoring

  • KPIs and Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales quotas, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer retention, and revenue targets.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance, sales forecasts, and achievement of targets, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunity.
  • Sales Forecasting: Use historical data, market insights, and sales trends to forecast future sales and ensure the sales pipeline is well-managed.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring the team maintains accurate records and follows up on leads in a timely manner.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Client Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire new customers by identifying potential leads, pursuing them, and converting them into paying clients.
  • Client Retention: Ensure that existing customers are satisfied with products/services, helping to retain clients long-term through proactive communication and relationship-building.
  • Account Management: Work closely with key accounts, especially large or high-value clients, to ensure they are receiving exceptional service and are upsold or cross-sold new products.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Take the lead in closing major deals, negotiating terms, and ensuring contracts are signed in a timely manner.
