1. Real Estate Knowledge
- Market Trends and Analysis: Understanding the local and national property markets, including property values, demand and supply dynamics, and neighborhood trends.
- Valuation Expertise: Being able to assess the value of a property accurately, taking into account various factors such as location, condition, amenities, and comparable sales.
- Investment Strategy: Knowledge of real estate as an investment vehicle, including rental yields, capital appreciation, and the risk vs. return profile of different property types.
- Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding property laws, contracts, zoning regulations, and tax implications related to property transactions.
2. Sales and Negotiation Skills
- Persuasion and Selling: The ability to effectively market properties to prospective buyers or tenants and present their features and benefits persuasively.
- Negotiation: Skilled at negotiating prices, terms, and conditions between buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants to reach favorable deals.
- Closing Deals: Guiding clients through the process of closing a sale, ensuring all documentation is in order, and facilitating smooth transactions.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Consultative Approach: Building strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, preferences, and goals to provide tailored advice and solutions.
- Customer Service: Offering exceptional service to clients, ensuring they feel confident and supported throughout the process.
- Networking: Establishing and maintaining a network of potential buyers, sellers, real estate agents, developers, lawyers, and other industry professionals to facilitate deals.
4. Marketing and Branding
- Property Promotion: Utilizing online platforms, social media, and traditional marketing methods to advertise properties and attract potential clients.
- Digital Marketing: Familiarity with listing sites (e.g., Zillow, Realtor.com), and social media platforms, as well as creating virtual tours or staging properties to enhance their appeal.
- Brand Development: Building a personal or company brand that clients trust, based on knowledge, reputation, and results.
5. Financial Acumen
- Financial Analysis: Understanding mortgage options, financing methods, and investment calculations (e.g., return on investment, gross rental yields, etc.).
- Cost Analysis: Being able to assess the costs associated with purchasing or maintaining a property, including taxes, maintenance, and insurance.
- Budgeting: Helping clients set realistic budgets for purchasing or renting properties, while also ensuring they are aware of all hidden or additional costs.
6. Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills

Required Candidate Profile
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in English and other local languages.
Strong knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations.
A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in real estate sales or leasing.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
