Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fixing and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a fulltime permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to determine the layout and placement of steel bars Measure and cut steel bars to specific lengths using a variety of tools and equipment Bend and shape steel bars using manual or automated techniques Secure steel bars in place by tying welding or bolting them to structural elements Ensure that all steel bars are properly aligned and placed according to the specifications Use concrete pumps and cranes to lift and position heavy steel bars Inspect and repair damaged or defective steel bars as needed Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on construction sites Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience as a steel fixer in the construction industry Knowledge of construction materials tools and techniques used in steel fixing Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and cut steel bars Attention to detail and ability to work with precision Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Good communication and teamwork skills Valid safety certifications and training preferred Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Health insurance coverage Paid vacation and sick leave Training and development programs Safe and supportive work environment If you are a skilled and motivated Steel Fixer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity we encourage you to apply for this position.
