Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Senior Specialist culture and well-being is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing employee well-being programs across the organization. This role focuses on promoting a culture of health and well-being, enhancing employee engagement, and improving overall workplace productivity. The Well-being Specialist will collaborate with various departments to create and maintain a supportive work environment that addresses the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement comprehensive well-being programs tailored to the needs of a diverse, global workforce.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and adapt programs accordingly.
  • Develop initiatives that address physical health, mental health, stress management, work-life balance, and overall employee wellness.

Employee Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking assistance with well-being-related issues.
  • Provide resources and referrals to employees for health and wellness services.
  • Organise workshops, seminars, and training sessions on topics such as stress management, healthy lifestyle choices, and mental health awareness.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with people department, management, and other departments to integrate well-being strategies into organisational practices.
  • Communicate well-being initiatives and program details to employees through various channels, including newsletters, intranet, and social media.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and support around well-being topics.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of well-being programs using data and employee feedback.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on program outcomes and employee well-being metrics to senior management.
  • Use data insights to make informed decisions and continuous improvements to well-being initiatives.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure all well-being programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in employee well-being and apply this knowledge to program development.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field.

Certification in well-being, wellness coaching, or a related discipline is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational organization.

Proven track record of designing and implementing successful well-being programs.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of holistic well-being and the various factors that contribute to employee health and productivity.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate employees.

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and with discretion.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR information systems.
